Upcoming Meetings!

posted Nov 7, 2011, 5:40 AM by Cub Scout Pack 151
This coming week, we have a Pack Committee planning meeting on Monday and a Pack meeting on Thursday.

Monday night, our Pack Committee will be meeting at 7pm at Hanifl Park Pavilion to finalize plans for Thursday’s Pack meeting and continuing to plan our upcoming meetings and Pack business.  There were a number of Leaders who attended the recent University of Scouting and will give an overview of what they learned.  We still do not have someone to organize our December Pack meeting on Dec. 8th which is scheduled to be a Dinner with Santa.  If we don’t have a volunteer by Monday’s Committee meeting, we will cancel the Dinner and come up with another Pack Meeting theme.  Our core Pack Committee members are too busy with their Den and assigned Pack duties.  We require more assistance from our parents than we are currently receiving.  Please join us at Monday’s meeting. We will come up with options that fit your schedule, skills and interests.

Thursday night at 6:30 at the Legion Hall is our Pack meeting for November.  We hope to have a presentation from members of our sponsor organization, the Hugo American Legion, to describe what they do for our community and show us a Veteran's Day Presentation.  We will then have stations open for Belt Loop activities.  Scouts will be able to choose 2 belt loops to go for that evening.  In addition, Thursday will be your opportunity to sign up for the Northern Star Council’s Polar Cubs activity day on February 25th.  Similar to the Fall Festival, the cost for Scouts and Siblings over 5 is $30 and the cost for adults is $10.  You will be able to use your newly earned Scout Account funds for this activity. Otherwise, bring your checkbook to reserve your spots. We will also be asking for preliminary interest in our Spring Family Camping Weekend, currently scheduled for May 4-6. We are seeking interested numbers so we can reserve enough cabins for everyone.

We look forward to seeing you this week.

The Hugo Pack 151 Committee
