"Scouting for Food" April 26 Pack Meeting

Hugo’s Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts promise "to help other people at all times", Hugo’s Cub Scouts promise to "give goodwill”. There is no better way to show our combined Scouting Spirit than by
participating in our annual "Scouting for Food" drive! Now is the time to show our community our Scouting values of being "considerate and caring”, "helpful, kind and cheerful."

Scouting for Food is scheduled for Saturday, April 26, when Scouts throughout Hugo help make a difference to fight hunger. Scouting for Food is the leading service program for Boy Scouts of America and is a part of the national BSA program - Good Turn for America. In partnership with local Girl Scout Troops, this city-wide service project begins the week prior as Scouts distribute door hangers in their neighborhoods to announce the upcoming food drive. Scouts return the following Saturday, April 26 to pick up and deliver donations to our local food shelf.

Last year we collected over 1900 pounds of donations to Hugo’s Good Neighbors Food Shelf.  Scouts hope this year will be their most successful drive yet!
