Pinewood Derby Next Saturday - Check in Friday

Important Change This Year!

In order to race on Saturday, your cars must be turned in on Friday.  Bring cars, tools, weights, and whatever else you might need on Friday for last minute tweaks.  “Pit tables” will be available for you and your scout(s). Cars will be weighed on an official, calibrated scale.  After cars are turned in, they will be impounded overnight prior to the race.  No modifications may are permitted on race day.

Class A Uniforms Required

Your son must be wearing his “Class A” uniform on Saturday, Pinewood Derby Race Day, including shirt, neckerchief, and slide. Scout hats and belts are optional.  Lion Cubs must wear their Lion Cubs t-shirts.  Scout uniforms will be inspected prior to their race.  Uniforms are not required on Friday.

Volunteers Needed

We need help setting up the track, helping families check in their cars and running the races.  Please help if you can. Contact our Pinewood Derby Chair, Jeff McClean.

Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your race time.

 10:00am Webelos 1 & 2

10:30am Bears

11:00 Wolves

11:30 Adults / Open Class

12:00 Tigers

12:45 Siblings

1:00 Lions

1:30 Top Speed Performer’s Run Off  (from each group)
