Pack 151 Final Fundraising Update for 2011 – Please READ!

We are wrapping up our Fall Fundraising efforts with the final Popcorn Pickup coming next Tuesday the 25th.  Check out the attached Flyer from the Council for news and ideas.  I know this weekend and Halloween Weekend are busy, but “Do your Best” to get out there one last time and see if you can ‘Scare” up some more sales to finish the month strong!

Unsold Popcorn and Money for both Popcorn and Wreaths will be accepted at the following Dates & Locations coming up by November 1st

·         Tuesday , Oct. 25th Popcorn Pickup from 6:30-8pm – Mike Bailey’s House (6445 Langer Lane in Lino Lakes)

·         Thursday, Oct. 27th Wolf Den meeting – Oneka Elementary Cafeteria from 6:30-8pm

·         Tuesday, Nov. 1st Final Drop Off – Dunn Bros in Hugo Festival Foods from 6-8pm

#1 Most Important Note: ALL Popcorn Inventory, Wreath Orders and Money must be turned in by November 1st!  You WILL be responsible for unsold Popcorn costs and un-ordered wreaths for your customers beyond that date.

Other Important Fundraising Notes:

·         Remember to convert cash into checks made out to Pack 151. Please have separate checks for Popcorn and Wreaths so we can keep everything straight.

·         Double check that your Wreath Order form matches your money.

·         Make a copy of your wreath order for delivery purposes as a backup.

We have a few other Pack Announcements as well.

This Friday night, we are filling care packages for the Yellow Ribbon Network at City Hall from 7-8pm.  Join us if you can.

Fall Festival reminder – This Saturday morning, meet at 7:30am in the Parking Lot in front of Festival Food and the Blue Herron.  Check in with your Den leaders and pick up a Map to the Camp and a Map of the Camp Grounds.  We will set off by 8am.  The event runs from 9-3.  Weather Forecast is for more Sun than Clouds with temperatures starting in the 40s and climbing into the low 60s.

We still need a Dinner with Santa Chair to plan the meeting and we are looking for a few more Belt Loop teachers for the Nov. 10th meeting.  Click this link http://www.usscouts.org/advance/cubscout/academics.asp to learn more about Belt Loop requirements.  Let your Den Leaders or any Pack Committee Member know if you can help us out.
