![]() On to the purpose of this email. This is your last call to participate in this weekend’s Family Camp. We can still take a few more overnight cabin campers at $20/person and you can still sign up for the Saturday Day camp option at $15/person through tomorrow at Noon. Currently, the weather forecast on Saturday is for a high around 70 with a slight chance of rain in the morning. Between the proximity to home, the reasonable cost and the weather, there’s no excuse for not taking part in our Family Camp. Those attending this weekend, please keep reading and check out the attachments for more information. In other news, the Council’s Summer Camping registration has been extended to May 15th. If you have not signed up for the resident camp or the Tiger Day camp, sign up soon. Most of our Pack is attending over the July 27th weekend.
For those attending this weekend, here is the list of what to bring and the meals that we have planned: Camping Supply List: Required: Sleeping bag, Pillow, Canteen or water bottle (filled at home), Camp chairs, Cub Scout Book, Flashlight/Lantern& extra batteries Clothing – Uniform shirt, Class B shirt, shoes &/or boots, rain gear, jacket, gloves, hat, long underwear, sweatshirt…basically dress for the forecasted weather, and bring extra clothes and shoes along in case they get wet Personal items – toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, bug repellant with Deet, sunscreen, hand sanitizer, and any other personal items or medications needed. Warning: This Spring and Summer is predicted to be especially bad for Ticks. Make sure your repellent is good for Ticks. Long fork or roasting sticks – for cooking hot dogs & roasting marshmallows Optional: Personal First Aid Kit, backpack, GPS for Geocaching, snacks and other food, camera, playing cards, Frisbees and other outside games, pocket knife (Bear rank and above only – must have whitling chip card), mess kit (bowl/plate/cup) and silverware are optional – we will be using paper plates, but you can use a mess kit if you would like. A few reminders: Label Everything – clothes, flashlights, chairs, coolers…everything No electronics at the campsites – GPS and cameras are fine, but no iPods, PSPs or DSs allowed (or anything for playing electronic games/music) No pets allowed ______________ Meals Planned: The pack will provide the meals for the weekend, except for Friday night. Friday Night: Cracker Barrel – bring something to share (i.e. Crackers, cheese, summer sausage, dips/spreads, chips, fruit) Saturday Morning: Scrambled eggs with fixing's Saturday Lunch: Hot Dogs and baked beans Saturday Dinner: Tacos in a Bag, dessert provided by the troop Sunday Breakfast: Cereal Pack will also provide: Apples, bananas, Lemonade, Gatorade, Milk, Coffee, Hot Chocolate, and fixings for S'mores for Saturday night campfire Families will need to bring their own snacks or other drinks that they may want for the weekend. The timing for Saturday is listed below for planning purposes. Whenever it lists Activities, Scouts and their Siblings will be with their Dens.

Please bring a check made out to the Pack with you if you have not paid. Every parent will also be expected to either cook or clean up for 1 meal during the weekend. We will complete the duty roster on Friday evening.
