Dear Pack 151 parents,

As we prepare for another fun filled year of Cub Scouts we would like to have your help as we pick which activities we will do together as a pack. This year's going to be especially exciting.  The BSA has improved the program for all Cub Scouts, parents and leaders.  We are going to have a meeting on May 11, 2015 at Hugo's City Hall to discuss the changes and how they'll fit into the coming year. We want to provide the best possible Scouting year for you and your son. Some of the pack activities we may be choosing from are:

  • Rainwater Regatta
  • Pinewood Derby
  • Scouting for Food (food collection service project)
  • Pack overnighter camping
  • Pack day camp/ Intro to the Great Outdoors
  • Visiting a historic place
  • Winter/snow activities (snowshoeing, cross country skiing, cutting ice from lakes, ice carving)
  • Visiting important community places.
  • Sledding
  • Astronomy/star gazing
  • Cross over ceremonies
  • Blue & Gold Celebration
  • Swim, Run & Jump at Big Marine Park Reserve
  • any other ideas you'd like to add

We know that this is a busy time of year for most families so we'll start promptly at 7:00pm and end by 8:30pm. We would like for you to bring any ideas for things that you and your son and his friends may want to do next year.
