Family Snow Tubing Day - Feb. 10

posted Dec 17, 2012, 11:01 PM by Unknown user

If you like sledding, you will love snow tubing! Imagine the thrill of sliding down a snowy run and then effortlessly riding a moving sidewalk back up. Tubes are provided and a surface lift is available for you to ride up the hill. Try different runs with varied levels of rollers and pitch. No experience or special equipment is needed. Just hop in our tube and enjoy the ride.

No snowfall?  No problem.  Groomed manmade and nature made snow covers 100% of the slopes.

Register Now:

  • Click this link for the Registration Form.  Download, complete and submit the form. Blank paper forms are also available at the Dec. and Jan. Pack Meetings and the Outings Chair's front porch drop-box.
  • Also note: Trollhaugen requires a Tubing Release Form which you can submit when you check in at the Tubing Chalet on Feb 10. To save time, complete the form at home and bring it with you.

Pack Deadline: Jan. 26

To ensure our Pack can attend together, the Outings Chair must receive your Registration Form and full payment no later than the Pack Deadline - Saturday, Jan. 26.  You will receive email confirmation upon completing registration and payment verification.

What to Wear:

This is a three hour outdoor winter experience. Dress in layers and be prepared for the weather. Each participant must have proper winter outdoor clothing including snow suits/pants, boots, hats and mittens.

Transportation and Carpooling:

We recommend coordinating with another scouting family to carpool and arrive prior to 11:45am. If you'd like to offer someone a ride or if you need a ride, please make a note of it on your Registration Form.

For More Info:

We'll be available during December and January's Pack Meeting to answer your questions.  Also, you may email outings.pack151@gmail.com for more info.
