Dress smart for winter activity

To paraphrase an old Norwegian saying,
"There's no such thing as bad weather,
only bad clothing and gear."

It's important for anyone who spends time outdoors to make smart choices about what they wear. Stay comfortable by choosing the right clothing. Avoid bad fabrics that'll make you miserable.

There's no need to spend big! Discount retailers (like Wal-mart,Target, and Gander Mountain) often have great options for a fraction of what high-end outfitters charge (like REI, LL Bean, Cabella's, etc.). Dressing weather-wise doesn't mean adding bulk or breaking a budget.
