December Pack Meeting and Updates

Hello Pack 151 Parents!  We have updates on our upcoming December meetings and some other Pack news.  Our Pack Committee will meet on Monday night, Dec. 5th at 7pm in the Oneka Room at Hugo City Hall.  We will be planing our Winter Activities including the Pack's Pinewood Derby, the Blue & Gold Dinner, Webelos Crossover and possibly an additional Winter Pack Gathering.   If you can't make it Monday, but you like to help plan and run the Pinewood Derby or Blue & Gold Dinner, please reply to this email and I will get you into contact with our Event Chairs. We will also be discussing some new leaders taking on new Pack roles.  The more the merrier!

 

We have over 100 Scouts, Siblings and Parents joining us for the December 11th Pack meeting at the Mall of America Sea Life Aquarium.  We have spots available for anyone who still wants to sign up.  Please reply to this email or contact Mike Bailey (651-485-7398) by Thursday night with the names of the Scout, Parent(s) and Siblings who wish to join us.  Remember siblings and a 2nd Parent can join us for $6 each.  Unless otherwise noted, we will deduct the $6 fees from your Scout Account.  The Pack will be signing the contract and making our payment to the Aquarium on Friday the 2nd.  If you haven't turned in your Medical Forms and Insurance Card Copies at Fall Festival or to your Den, please do so as quickly as possible.  Mike Bailey will be reaching out to those who still need to turn them in early next week.  You can download the form here -  http://www.hugocubscouts.org/home/parent-resources and look under Medical Files.  Please drop off the printed forms and Insurance Copies for all individuals joining us at the Aquarium at Mike Bailey's house at 6445 Langer Lane in Lino Lakes or Scan and email them to Committee.Pack151@gmail.com.

 

We will plan to gather in the 1st Floor East Rotunda area (Between Sears and Bloomingdale's) just outside the entrance to the Aquarium before 1:30PM on Dec. 11th.  We will have our Opening Ceremony there and then enter the Aquarium promptly at 1:30.  Please don't be late! Remember - Class "B" T-Shirt is the Uniform for the day.  If you don't have your Scout's Shirt, please contact your Den Leader.

 

Pinewood Derby Kits will be handed out at the Aquarium on the 11th. All remaining Kits will be given to Den Leaders to hand out at their December Meetings.   

 

Polar Cubs signup deadline is December 11th.  Please email Denise Dickson at bdjldickson@comcast.net if you wish to sign up. Again, the 1-day event is February 25th in Cannon Falls.  $30 for Scouts, $10 for Adults.  No Siblings this time out, sorry. Payment will need to be made by the 11th as well or indicate a Scout Account deduction.
