A one-day fall camp experience for all Cub Scouts & their families.

Sunday, October 27

The day will be filled with plenty of fun, adventure, activity and exploration.

It's Fun
Scouts and their families have a great time at this day camp.  It's an introduction to all that's great about Cub Scout camping programs. In the past, Fall Festival activities have included:

  • Zip lines
  • Pony rides
  • Archery
  • Wall / rock climbing
  • Crafts
  • BB Gun shooting
  • Field Games
  • Skill Building
  • Carmel Apples
  • Exploration / hiking
  • Campfire
  • Pontoon boat rides
  • Hay rides

It's Easy for Parents
Parents enjoy Fall Festival alongside with their kids. Enthusiastic trained staff plan and runs all the programs. Support staff prepares the meals.  There's no volunteer obligation.

Families Welcome
Siblings that are 5 and older may attend with their Cub Scout brother.  Siblings under 5 years old may attend free of charge, but the activities they can participate in will be limited depending on their age. Adults may attend for a reduced fee to cover the cost of the meal provided at camp.

It's Affordable
$30 each youth: Cub Scouts & siblings ages 5 and older
$10 each Adult
Siblings under 5 years old: Free
Includes all meals and equipment.

If you miss the Sept. 19 Pack Deadline, you may register yourself through the Northern Star Council's website (depending on availability).

What to Wear and Bring Along
Scouts and adult leaders should wear their "Class A" uniforms. Dress in layers- appropriately for the weather with sturdy, closed toe footgear as Fall Festival programs continue rain or shine.

Bring a water bottle and a small backpack to carry personal items.

Location and Start Time
Kiwanis Scout Camp is a beautiful, historic camp located 20 minutes away. With a mix of woods, open fields, and access to the river, exploration possibilities are endless.

We'll meet near Kiwanis' Dining Hall at 8:15am. Families should check in with the Outings Chair when you arrive.

Camperships Available

Hugo's Cub Scout Pack 151 believes every youth should have the opportunity to experience the excitement of camping, and wants to provide the opportunity for registered youth to go to camp. These experiences help youth learn new skills and advance through the ranks of Scouting. The intent of camperships is to ensure that any youth with financial difficulties is not denied the opportunity to attend camping programs. Contact Pack Committee Chair Mike Bailey or Cubmaster Charlie Niven for more info.
