It's our biggest number yet!

We're very proud of our Hugo and White Bear Lake community. There's great news to report from Hugo's latest Scouting for Food & Feeding the Need event! Hugo's Cub Scouts Pack 151, Boy Scouts Troop 151, numerous White Bear Lake and Hugo area Girl Scouts Troops, and Hugo Good Neighbors Food Shelf volunteers collaborated together on Saturday, April 11. Together, Scout teams fanned out throughout the City of Hugo and collected over 2425 pounds of donations from giving residents. That's a 46% increase over last November's effort. White Bear Lake's Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1782 generously sponsored a pizza lunch for more than 100 of our volunteers.

This wasn't just a fun Saturday morning activity for kids. It was an effort we're all very proud of. Young people learned to work together. They helped to address a tangible problem in their community and drew inspiration to greater service. Great work everyone!
